“Fail’s Flotilla: Final Fight” might just be the most difficult level in the history of Super Mario Bros. Now, after almost two years of practice, its creator finally beat the unbeatable level.
Watch this man finally beat a ‘Super Mario’ level he’s been practicing for 480 HOURS
This is absolutely unbelievable.

Twitch streamer “Failstream” began work on his Super Mario Maker level in May 2016, and has been working almost tirelessly on it since. In the two years since he devised the level he’s put over 480 total hours into beating it, between over 366 hours of full runs and 115 hours of practicing sections. That’s 20 full days of practice.
Super Mario Maker requires players to finish their levels before uploading them for the public, to ensure the levels can actually be finished. This has resulted in numerous people trying to create the most-difficult levels possible, with the only barrier being their ability.
Failstream’s attempts became such an impossible task that viewers began betting on how long it would take him to complete it, if at all. The challenge lies in numerous mechanics build into the level. There are timing elements throughout that require perfect jumping in sequence, along with the level requiring players to keep the cape on Mario. If Mario loses the cape the level is unfinishable, meaning a single wrong move and it’s all over.
To make matters worse, Failstream crammed so many obstacles and rooms in the level that players have no time to rest. You have to move at a blistering pace throughout, or you can’t finish in time. On his winning attempt he only managed to cross the finish line with four seconds remaining.
The world now has the chance to take on “Fail Flotilla: Final Flight” themselves, and in the 13 hours since the level was uploaded over 5,000 people have attempted and nobody has managed to clear it.
Give it a try — if you dare.
