If you thought you had a bad week at work then rest assured: Someone had a much worse one. The city of Wichita repainted its water tower to reflect the school’s new logo, and there was just one problem:

That’s Wichita mayor Jeff Longwell, who couldn’t help but poke fun at the city’s new look. The official account of Wichita had some fun too:
How it happened we don’t know. It’s possible the crew putting the name on the water tower worked bottom up and somehow became confused when it got to the final letters. So we were left with “Wichita Staty Universite,” which has a subtly French angle that we can appreciate.
Sadly the new-look water tower didn’t last long:
RIP Wichita Staty Universite. We hardly knew ye.
