Police manhunt underway to find jogger pooping in peoples’ yards

A rogue jogger, who has been dubbed the “Mad Pooper” is terrorizing neighborhoods by defecating in driveways, and a citywide hunt is on to try and find the fecal fiend.

Local police are on the hunt for a jogger who has been reportedly defecating in people’s driveways during morning runs. Reports say families have found human excrement in their yards in each of the last seven weeks. More recently the “Mad Pooper” was caught in the act, and even apologized to the family — according to CBS News.

“They are like, ‘There’s a lady taking a poop!’ So I come outside, and I’m like ... ‘are you serious?’” Budde recalled. “‘Are you really taking a poop right here in front of my kids!?’ She’s like, ‘Yeah, sorry!’”

The Budde family seem to be the top target of the “Mad Pooper,” and there’s not really a good explanation why. There are public restrooms nearby, according to the family, and they’ve gone to lengths not only to put up signs to try and make it stop, but also keep an eye on their property.

The “Mad Pooper,” ever vigilant and wiley with her waste, began changing up her run times to try and evade the family’s eyes. The family are mystified why their yard is being targeted. It’s confusing local police as well.

“It’s abnormal, it’s not something I’ve seen in my career,” Sgt. Johnathan Sharketti told KKTV. “For someone to repeatedly do such a thing ... it’s uncharted territory for me.”

Hopefully the pooper is found and the yard saved before any more innocent animals are blamed for the fecal follies.
