Crying Michael Jordan meme is now an answer to a Jeopardy question
That was a close one.

Everything is sports and Jeopardy is no exception. But this time, it’s also memes.
On Wednesday, Jeopardy contestant Justin chose the Fond Meme-ories category and got this:
For some reason, a picture of this athlete crying after his NBA Hall of Fame induction in 2009 became a meme-worthy moment in 2016
Hmm ... whoever could that be? Here’s a hint if you don’t know the answer:
Justin was quick to answer with “Who is Michael Jordan?” which is correct. The meme was used earlier than 2016 but last year probably had the most Crying Jordans of any calendar year. It seemed that whenever anything happened in sports or in entertainment, Crying Jordan would be there.
It’s a good thing this contestant got the answer right. Otherwise, he would’ve been the latest person to get Crying Jordaned on the internet. And while the meme’s prime has passed, this could have been a perfect opportunity for the internet to bring it back. Oh well, there’s always the next big sports event. Congrats on not becoming a meme (and also getting the question right), Justin!
