It’s been a rough week for Kevin Durant. The Warriors star accidentally showed the world he uses fake accounts to argue with strangers, his private Instagram account was discovered, and he apologized for mocking the Thunder and head coach Billy Donovan. Now Stephen Jackson is getting his shots in and making sure he drags down Durant a little more.
Stephen Jackson dunks on Kevin Durant by calling him an ‘egg avatar’
All righty then.

Appearing on ESPN’s The Jump, Jackson had some harsh words about Durant’s apology:
“I look at you now as I look at everybody else on Twitter and Instagram that has a little egg avatar. You are that person now. You cannot be excluded from that. Who creates a fake page? I’m the person, if I want to respond to somebody on social media, it has to come from my page with the verified check on it. He’s an egg avatar now. I have no respect for him.”
The panel went on to further mock Durant, saying “he’s a cupcake and an egg now,” laughing saying, “That’s difficult!” Jackson finally walked back his statements slightly after Rachel Nichols defended Durant by noting that he owned up to the mistake and didn’t try to lie about it:
“We all want to clap back at fans. I love it. I love that he claps back at fans — and some people need to be clap backed at.”
It’s more the method Durant went about it that annoys Jackson, rather than what he actually did.
