In the mom’s defense: Her son really introduced this in a weird way. Most people would send a text and be like “I just met Isaiah Thomas!” not “Look at this hoodie.” Blame goes both ways on this one. If mom just gave the photo a casual glance or was fixated on the clothing, then she could have easily missed that it was Isaiah.
