Wales scored the game-winning goal just as fans finished singing the national anthem

Wales upset Austria over the weekend in a game that’s being lauded as one of the best in the country’s history. How that 1-0 goal happened is like something out of a movie, because it came right as fans finished singing the Welsh national anthem:

It really is an incredible scene. The crowd raises its voice in unison to sing the national anthem, the announcers fall silent because it seems wrong to talk over it — and just as things quiet down, 17-year-old Ben Woodburn becomes a national hero with an incredible strike:
