You probably remember Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out!! on the NES and Super Punch-Out!! on the Super NES from your childhood, but you’ve never seen anything like this before. This gamer beat both games, at the same time, on the same controller.
This guy played 2 ‘Punch-Out!!’ games at the same time WITH THE SAME CONTROLLER
HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?!

Speedrunner “zallard1” accomplished the feat as part of Awesome Games Done Quick, a semiannual charity drive that raised over $2 million for the Prevent Cancer Foundation. Using a special controller splitter, he was able to play both games at the same time with an ingenious trick you probably never thought was possible.
In the original NES version of Punch-Out!! the “start” button was used to throw uppercuts, while in the Super Punch-Out!! the button would pause the game. This allowed zallard1 to strategically pause and un-pause the SNES game as needed, so his punches would sync up. This was pretty easy when it came to Glass Joe and Gabby Jay, the first two opponents in the games, but by the time he gets to fighting Tyson the timing is ridiculous.
He ended up completing both games in 23 minutes and 56 seconds. Meanwhile, I’ve still never beaten Tyson. This is just absurd.
