Julie Ertz asking Zach Ertz questions during Super Bowl Opening Day is d’awwww
“I’m proud of you, babe.”

Julie Ertz went viral for her reaction to the Eagles winning the NFC championship game and booking their trip to the Super Bowl.
Julie has already won a World Cup with the U.S. women’s national soccer team. Her husband, Eagles tight end Zach Ertz, can finally get a championship of his own. In the Eagles locker room, a reporter showed Zach the video of Julie after her game. He got teary-eyed watching it.
Fast forward to this week, both Ertzes are at Super Bowl Opening Day. Zach was there to answer questions leading up to the big game, and Julie was there, U.S. Soccer mic in hand, interviewing people all day.
But when Michael Irvin got the couple together for an NFL Network segment, neither of them knew how to react.
Irvin put Julie in a bit of a spot. At first, she didn’t have a question to ask her husband, but she eventually asked him about dinner:
“What’s your favorite meal i make?
“[My] favorite meal that Julie makes ... she makes unbelievable tacos. That would be my answer. She doesn’t make them all the time, so I’m kind of upset about it but when she does, they’re off the chain.”
Someone needs to get the recipe of these famous Ertz tacos.
Then Michael Irvin switched the conversation to how athletic and successful Julie and Zach’s children will be, especially if Zach is able to capture his first Super Bowl trophy. Two championship-winning parents will surely raise the bar if their future children decide to purpose competitive sports.
Toward the end of the interview, Julie took off her reporter hat and went back to being just Zach’s partner. “I’m just so excited to share this moment and, I’m proud of you, babe.”
