Stephen Curry crashed into Usher, and all the announcer could focus on was their net worth
Oh nooo!

Poor Usher! He just wanted to catch the Warriors go up against the Rockets. What he didn’t expect was for a Rocket and a Warrior to run right toward him.
Stephen Curry and Trevor Ariza were just fighting for a loose ball. It’s not their fault that Usher was right in the middle of all that. The best part of the crash into the courtside seats has to be the TNT crew’s reaction:
“You know how much money is tied up in those two guys. That’s $35 million with Steph and ... Usher is worth 100 mil ... two?”
Focusing on the net worth as an initial reaction to the fall is kind of weird. It gets even weirder when he instinctively brings up the numbers to back it up. For what it’s worth, two people crashing into each other worth a collective $135 million is both impressive and scary. And we’re not even counting Ariza’s net worth in this.
We’re looking at a very expensive sports crash here. The only way this could get more expensive is if Bill Gates walked back and slipped in the aftermath of it all.
