I’m really sorry you had to see this. The rampant disregard for trash can organization is horrible, and confronting people at their front doors? Just unconscionable. Winnipeg police have not issued a statement on the riots, as they are likely dealing with similar issues across the city.
Canada’s streets have been ruined in the past week with curling riots which began after the opening night of competition:
If you’re in Winnipeg and see Colin Lougheed, the rioter in question, please be careful. Don’t approach him directly, as the riots seem to end rather quickly. It’s best just to remove yourself from a situation than try to intervene.
