The car looks more like a Batmobile than anything we’ve seen, and Aspark is looking to take it to the streets soon. This test run was designed to show off the power of their new electric car, and kudos to the driver for having the guts to do this behind a garage with barely enough room to brake before hurtling into the woods.
The speed of 1.921 seconds rivals the Tesla Roadster, which posted a similar time last year. But unlike the Tesla, this looks like a damn Batmobile. Aspark showed their car running on race tires, but the company claims it is working to keep that 1.9 second speed in its street version, and believes it can still post the same time while running on street tires.
The Aspark Owl will be priced at $4.4 million when it enters production, according to Jalopnik with only 50 of the car being made. It’s one heck of a head-turner, and we’re witnessing an incredible revolution continue in the world of hypercars.
