Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir (and Terry) have been SLAYING the Olympics when it comes to figure skating commentary and now the duo (as well as Terry) are getting a chance to have a bigger role to close out the Peyongchang games.
Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir will host the Winter Olympics closing ceremony
This is the best.

NBC announced on Thursday that Lipinski and Weir (also Terry) would have the honor of being the hosts and commentators for the Winter Olympics closing ceremony in Pyeongchang.
“Parades, K-Pop, fireworks, costumes, dancing – who better to host the world’s biggest party than Tara, Johnny and Terry,” Jim Bell, President, NBC Olympics Production and Programming, said in a press release.
The closing ceremony will feature the parade of nations, musical acts as well as an segue to showcase Beijing, who will host the 2022 Winter Olympics. It’s the biggest party of the games, and who better to celebrate with that Tara and Johnny (and Terry)?
Anyone who’s watched any of the Olympics know that they’re the absolute perfect commentators who mix a technical knowledge of the sport with amazing chemistry and just a hint of sass that perfectly complements the competition on the ice.
This is a great decision.
