The subject of Usain Bolt crossing over into other sports has been a subject ever since the greatest sprinter of all time started setting world records. Every year there were think pieces about Bolt becoming an NFL wide receiver, but now he’s finally making the jump — albeit to a different kind of football.
Usain Bolt is making a serious push to play professional soccer
This really might happen.

Bolt teased the announcement that he has signed with a professional soccer team, and that he would reveal who on Tuesday, Feb. 27. There’s just one problem: We might already know who.
The Jamaica Star wrote about Bolt preparing for soccer last week, mentioning that he was training for a try out with Borussia Dortmund. Bolt spoke to the newspaper about the possibility.
“If it (trial) works out, it is just to do my best and to win as many trophies and try to make the country proud, like I did in track and field. If I prepare right, I have no doubt in my mind,” he said.”
Either way we’ll learn more on Tuesday, but you never know what could happen. Borussia Dortmund is a bigger club than anyone imagines Bolt could make an appearance for, but weirder things have happened in sports.
