The Super Bowl MVP card set is something the game has been doing for a while now, so don’t start throwing things and thinking the game considers Foles the best QB in the NFL.
Brady got a 99 OVR card last year when he beat the Falcons, but that was a relatively small jump from his normally high rating. Foles, meanwhile, jumps from 75 overall to 99.
There’s even a small nod to the Eagles’ trick play at the end of the first half of the Super Bowl in the rankings. According to Forbes, this version of Foles has an 84 in route running and a 74 for spectacular catch. These are solid even for a wide receiver.
