LeBron James nutmegged his own teammate while splitting two defenders

Even James’ accidents are incredible.

Even on accident, LeBron James is incredible.

Early in the first quarter against the Philadelphia 76ers, James got a screen thanks to teammate Tristan Thompson. That didn’t seem like enough space for The King, so he decided to get a bit more creative to find his way into the lane.

He pulled off a behind-the-back pass in such a small space. But more importantly, he nutmegged his own dang teammate! And he was so focused on getting near the basket that he didn’t react at all to what he had just done. Maybe he didn’t see it clearly himself — but once the game is over, he should take a few minutes to reflect on this happy accident.

Because, my goodness.
