My goodness. Now look, it’s not likely Immobile thought he was actually going to score with this, let alone strike it so perfectly it went top corner — but there’s no denying how pretty this is. The poor keeper had no chance at all, and it’s going to be so much worse when he sees how this was scored and realizes the moment will be an all-time great.
Honestly, it takes a lot of say any goal belongs in a “best ever” reel, but this one comes mightly close. Certainly the goal of the season.
