ABC2 reports that police found “a ledger that contained language which is consistent with someone involved in the sale and distribution of narcotics,” when Davis was arrested on Feb. 7, which prompted the NBA champion to respond.
Davis has since deleted his Popeyes-fueled video, but it has been preserved for posterity. Look, I’m not going to either condone or chide Davis for allegedly selling weed. However, I really approve of him bringing a giant Popeyes spread onto a private jet. It’s refreshing to see someone know how to live large in the skies. I’m sick of seeing bottles of champagne and caviar blinis. Give me a dang box of chicken (always spicy) and some red beans and rice any day.
