Ben Simmons roasted the Hawks while playing ‘PUBG’ with Karl-Anthony Towns

Trying to convince a friend to play one more round of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is nothing new — but Ben Simmons’ attempt to get Karl-Anthony Townes to stick around was a little different.

Towns: I see you a PUBG master though, so imma let you be.
Simmons: Hop on man! Play one. You got time. Who do you play tomorrow?
Towns: Hawks.
Simmons: You’ve got plenty of time.

Now look, in Simmons’ defense the Hawks are 21-53 right now, and they don’t really pose a threat to the Timberwolves — but by the same token, dang Ben Simmons. Even the Hawks took notice ...
