The Final Four buzzer sounds like a car horn and everyone’s mad

Honk! Honk!

Are you watching the Final Four and think someone is outside your house, just honking at you? It’s not just you. Everyone is getting confused by the buzzer at the Final Four in San Antonio. The buzzer sounds less like the one you find at your standard game and more like a car horn.

It’s a little hard to get used to when you’ve been listening to the familiar basketball buzz for years.

The horn really does sound like someone is stuck behind you in traffic who thinks that incessantly honking will make everything go faster. Just when you thought you could get away from the doldrum of the weekday commute, it sneaks its way into your weekend via college basketball. This is a little cruel.
