‘LaVar Ball’ returned to Saturday Night Live to make another appearance on Weekend Update, this time to discuss the Lakers missing the playoffs and how Lonzo Ball’s season went overall. He did
‘LaVar Ball’ returned to SNL to tell the world how Lonzo averaged 50 points a game
He also showed off a new $500 basketball sandal.

LaVar Ball: What a year for Lonzo!
Michael Che: I mean, he did fine.
LaVar: Fine?! Stop talkin’ out your neck! My boy averaged 50 points a game.
Che: No, he didn’t.
LaVar: 100 assists, 500 touchdowns -- and he was just certified 100 percent “fresh” by Rotten Tomatoes.
LaVar got upset at Che’s suggestion that Kyle Kuzma was the best rookie on the Lakers, to which he responded by saying Kuzma was just “warming the bench” until his other sons arrive. LaVar also spoke big game about his Junior Basketball Association, saying the “real ballers” would show up to the First Korean Baptist Church in Temecula to prove they have what it takes.
SNL has been using LaVar as a character all season, and it’s still resonating with the audience. Both at home, and in-studio people are loving Keenan Thompson’s over-the-top rendition of an already larger-than-life character.
There was also one heck of a scoop when LaVar unveiled the next big thing in the Big Baller Brand family, the ZoTiva basketball sandal.
It only costs $500 too. What a bargain.
