The fists were flying over the weekend in Georgia as competitors in the Douglas County Cornhole Tournament scrapped and wrestled, becoming a writhing mass of cargo shorts and polo shirts.
Honestly, the real MVP of the video is the MC over the bullhorn trying to get everyone to chill.
“Stop it right now! We will stop this tournament! This is stupid! This is absolutely ridiculous GET! Get outta here. We will stop this tournament right now. We are adults, and this is ridiculous. This is a cornhole tournament fundraiser.”
You can tell the MC is understandably perturbed, but it has this flourish of home shopping network to it as well. Gotta love that showmanship.
The cornhole tournament was to raise money to provide high school seniors with scholarships, which I mostly mention so I can applaud Douglas County for their “Cool Corn” mascot.
This corn is so cool it doesn’t even need to plug its headphones in. Just some smiling, cool-ass corn, chilling while dudes beat each other up over a game.
The moral of this story is that anything can have a happy ending when you have a good corn logo.
