I’ve only watched this video once, and that is enough because it’s all my nerves can handle.
Man climbs 4 stories to save child dangling from railing
Paris’ Spider-man has become a hero in the city.

Mamoudou Gassama, an immigrant from Mali who arrived in France earlier this year is now being dubbed “Paris’ Spider-man,” after the 22-year-old scaled the outside of an apartment building in the city’s 18th district to save a child dangling from a balcony.
Gassama was walking down the street on Saturday night when he saw the a crowd gathered beneath the building screaming to call emergency responders. Not knowing whether they would make it in time, he immediately jumped into action, climbing the exterior of the building to help another good Samaritan, who scaled the outside of the building from a neighboring apartment. Together they saved the child, and waited in the apartment’s living room for authorities to arrive.
It was later discovered that the child was left alone, according to The Guardian. The father is being questioned by police for leaving the child unattended. Meanwhile Gassama, who said he was shaking after his ascent, is being honored by French president Emmanuel Macron.
The mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, took to Twitter to share her appreciation for his act.
“Congratulations to Mamoudou Gassama for his act of bravery that saved the life of a child last night. I had the pleasure of talking with him today by phone, to thank him. He explained to me that he arrived from Mali a few months ago while dreaming of building his life here. I replied that his heroic gesture is an example for all citizens and that the City of Paris will obviously be keen to support him in his efforts to settle in France.”
Absolutely incredible.
