Every week sketches get cut from Saturday Night Live due to time, but this Cavaliers promo about the “other Cavs” was a gem.
SNL’s unaired LeBron James sketch was way too real
This got cut for time, but it was amazing.

Done in the style of an ESPN game promo, it focuses on every player not named LeBron James. They don’t want to get lost in the shuffle, because they have important jobs too, like:
- Sweeping up his chalk.
- Giving LeBron back rubs.
- Picking up his laundry.
- Offering free throw high fives.
- And so much more.
The beautiful thing about this is how prescient it was. This sketch would have been shot earlier in the week, and right around the time it would have made TV LeBron was hitting his game-winner to give the Cavs a 3-0 series lead, all while scoring 38 points and leading the team with 7 assists.
Sure, it’s a one-man show — but don’t forget the other Cavs.
