The Bay Area is supposed to be chill, but when it comes to the Warriors the Bay Area has zero chill.
This San Francisco brewery is making an IPA called ‘LeBron Tears’
Tastes so salty — also with a nice hop profile.

Barebottle Brewing Company in San Francisco is looking to rub a little hops in the wound of the Cavaliers’ loss in the NBA Finals with an IPA called “LeBron Tears.” I’ve always wondered what LeBron’s tears would taste like, but it appears Barebottle thinks they’ve nailed the flavor profile with melon, lemon and mosaic hops.
I’m not generally a fan of trying to stunt on anyone after winning a title, but LeBron kinda did that with his “Ultimate Warriors” shirt in 2016 — so turnabout is fair play. Also I’m very partial to anything with mosaic hops, which are fruity and flavorful, albeit I’ve always had bad luck with melon-flavored IPAs. They always taste a little skunky.
So, if you want to drink the product of a king’s tearducts you might need to go to San Francisco, give this a try, and tell me whether it’s worth a damn outside of trolling LeBron.
