This video of WWII Spitfires flying over London is going viral ahead of England’s semi-final World Cup match against Croatia on Wednesday.
This video of British planes spelling ‘ITS COMING HOME’ ahead of World Cup semifinal is sadly fake

Sadly, it’s fake.
The video isn’t presented in a way intended to try and trick people, but plenty are wanting to believe nonetheless. It’s the product of UK-based “Potion Pictures,” a motion graphics company who married the flyover on the anniversary of the Royal Air Force (RAF) with England’s critical match.
So there was a flyover?
Yes, but the planes never spelled out “ITS COMING HOME,” instead the actual video had the planes in a formation “100,” honoring the 100th anniversary of the RAF.
Potion Pictures took the concept and turned it into England’s World Cup catch phrase, and because it’s the internet, people believed it.
But it would have been cool if it was real.
Hell yeah, it would have! But those planes are like, wing-to-wing. Way too dangerous. Spitfires aren’t known for having the best handling either, on account of them being over 80-years old at this point
I’m sad, but I want to see cool plane stunts.
I got you, boo.
