Welcome to our new future:
This ‘Fortnite’ basketball trick shot video is absolutely incredible
Goals.

Fortnite trick shot videos are a thing now, and I couldn’t be more happy. Purists might poo-poo video game trick shotting as not being legit — but if you’ll allow me, I think it’s more difficult and more pure.
All trick-shot videos are inherently dishonest.
You know it, I know it. The finished product we see is a result of hundreds, sometimes thousands of attempts just to get one moment that can be cut into a montage video that makes the trick shooter look awesome.
With video game trick shots you still need that same practice, but it’s about learning the physics engine, the limitations of the game, and breaking the shot down into a mathematic equation — not luck.
That’s why I applaud this ludicrous Fortnite shot. It would have taken so much dang time to work out all the factors that would allow this to go in, and on a structure that’s functionally impossible to construct in real life at that scale.
I am totally OK with all trick shots pivoting to Fortnite.
