Nevada pulled off a masterpiece in hidden ball trickery on Tuesday night in the American Legion World Series against Delaware.
This hidden ball trick is a masterpiece
A thing of beauty.

Nevada’s Josh Sharman played his role perfectly in fooling the Delaware runner. It’s not just the hidden ball itself, but his acting that made it all possible. That frustrated fist pump is a masterstroke that put the runner over the top and making the decision to go for third.
The batter seems to be the only one (other than Nevada, of course) who saw it all coming, and he tried so hard to get the runner’s attention and tell him to stay.
In the end it was a neat moment, but not enough. Delaware won 1-0.
