BYU’s mascot lost its head and this conspiracy goes all the way to the top

Something horrible happened during BYU’s 30-3 win over McNeese State on Saturday and it’s left everyone wondering what is going on.

Beloved mascot Cosmo the Cougar was entertaining the crowd with a series of flips when he became decapitated. His head traveled several feet through the air before landing on the ground and being retrieved by a several BYU assistants. The stunning incident left more questions — and there’s no good answer.

The most alarming part of the video is that when Cosmo lost his head there appeared to have been another head on his shoulders.

Cougars do not have an anatomical trait of having two heads, so this second head is somewhat of a mystery. So disturbing is the revelation that people are trying to determine whose head was under Cosmos.

This would be an alarming state of affairs. If there was truly a human head wearing a Cosmo mask then there’s only one logical explanation: Someone has kidnapped Cosmo the Cougar and is holding him against his will so nefarious cougar actors can pose as the beloved cougar, and assume his identity. It’s unclear who would be motivated to do this, but “Guam Rococos” is an anagram for Cosmo Cougar, so we have to believe a late-Baroque enthusiast from Guam is behind it all.
