Game 3 of the NLDS between the Giants and the Braves got interesting in a hurry, with the Giants loading the bases in the top of the first against Tim Hudson. Andres Torres led off the game with a base hit. Freddy Sanchez followed with a groundball to Brooks Conrad that might've gone for a double play, but Conrad bobbled the ball and couldn't make any play for a potentially critical early error.
Braves Vs. Giants, NLDS Game 3: Tim Hudson Works Out Of Major Early Jam
Aubrey Huff would strike out and Torres would get thrown out by Brian McCann trying to steal third base, seemingly relieving a lot of the pressure, but Hudson proceeded to walk both Buster Posey and Pat Burrell to load the bases for Juan Uribe.
Uribe, however, rolled an easy grounder to third for the final out, and though Hudson had to throw a stressful 24 pitches in the inning, he kept the Giants scoreless.
