We've got a run. Mike Fontenot - starting in place of the struggling Pablo Sandoval - led off the second inning with a triple that forced Jason Heyward back to the wall, where he appeared to injure his wrist. The next batter, Cody Ross, lifted a pop-up into right field on which Heyward and Brooks Conrad converged, but Conrad couldn't make the catch, allowing Fontenot to score from third. The error was Conrad's second of the game, and third of the series.
