Braves Vs. Giants, NLDS Game 3: Tim Hudson Finishes Seventh Inning Strong

Tim Hudson was stranded on the basepaths in the bottom of the sixth as he didn't get any help from his teammates. If he was discouraged in the seventh, though, he didn't show it, as he completed a strong scoreless inning. Cody Ross popped out, Jonathan Sanchez struck out, and after Andres Torres worked a difficult walk and stole second base, Hudson whiffed Freddy Sanchez with an outside slider to take the game to the stretch.

Hudson has thrown 106 pitches through seven innings, and may be done for the day. If that’s the case, he ends having allowed four hits, four walks, and an unearned run, while striking out five and generating 13 swinging strikes.
