Reds Vs. Phillies, NLDS Game 3: Homer Bailey Works Out Of Trouble In Sixth

If nothing else, even though it's currently 2-0 Phillies in the sixth, it could be a lot worse for the Reds. In the top of the sixth, Homer Bailey came out of the bullpen and saw two runners reach base - Jimmy Rollins on a single, and Carlos Ruiz on an error by Scott Rolen. With two on and two out, though, Bailey got Cole Hamels to fly out harmlessly to right, bringing an end to the threat.

The pitching has been there. The bats have not.
