Rays Vs. Rangers, ALDS Game 1: Neftali Feliz On To Close Out In The 9th

Do or die now for the Rays. The Rays' bullpen spun a shutout eighth and a shutout ninth, but Darren O'Day and Darren Oliver were also able to keep the Rays off the board in their half of the eighth, and so the score remains 5-1 headed into the bottom of the ninth. Though it isn't a save situation, Ron Washington is taking no chances, throwing Neftali Feliz into the playoff fire for the first time in his career.

His first pitch came in at 97 miles per hour.

The Rays are three outs away from falling behind in the series and losing their home-field advantage.
