Still, we should acknowledge that not every World Series will end dramatically after seven games -- sometimes, it's enough to marvel at just how quickly an apparent also-ran can transform itself into a juggernaut.. The Giants survived the Braves, found a way to best the Phillies' pitching, and felled a Rangers that was fresh off an ALCS win against the Yankees. Pretty good, huh, America? Right, you guys?

Well, this is a fan base responsible for, over the years, attempting to overturn an opposing team’s bus, intentionally vomiting on a little girl, breaking into the front office and stealing things... in truth, there are plenty of decent Phillies fans, but it’s nice to know that the minority of knuckleheads will always be there for us.
