Late Wednesday evening, Miguel Cabrera was arrested for DUI in Florida. Spotted next to his smoking car by police, Cabrera reportedly had slurred speech and bloodshot eyes, and resisted arrest before being forced into the back of a patrol vehicle. He was taken down to the station and booked at 12:20am, and it was there that he had this mugshot photo taken:

Now, Cabrera refused to take a breath test to measure his alcohol level. But compare that mugshot to Tony La Russa's. Compare that mugshot to Adam Kennedy's. Compare that mugshot to Cabrera's official Tigers team photo. Those other three pictures were taken of people who were sober, or sobering up. But late last night at the St. Lucie County Jail, Miguel Cabrera was very much still having the time of his life.
Miguel Cabrera seems to be battling some demons, and he’s not going to come out of this looking too good. At the same time, though, he’s not going to come out of this looking too bad.
