Commissioner Bud Selig Won’t Commit to Retirement

I never bought into the retirement talk. Not for a minute. From Jon Heyman’s Twitter feed:

↵↵Selig doesnt commit to dec 31, 2012 as final day as commish, saying, “that is my goal ... those are my thoughts today.”

↵↵Commissioner Bud isn’t going anywhere because he doesn’t want to go anywhere, and because his employers don’t want him to go anywhere. Why would they? Everyone is rolling around in giant piles of cash.
