It's safe to say Buck Showalter did not enjoy your version of "The Star-Spangled Banner," Baltimore Orioles guest vocalists. The 54-year-old vet would've evidently preferred a more traditional rendition, muttering, "What the f---?" before wincing and shaking his head. Showalter is known as a micromanager of a manger, so it’s not surprising to see him offering his input on the team’s pregame ceremonies. What would a Showalter-approved national anthem sound like? Then again, he also has a reputation as a man with a sharp eye for talent, so maybe he has a point here. A sharp point!
Anybody know the name of this singin’ group? Have a strong feeling they won’t be seen at Camden Yards again any time soon.
