For the third day in a row, baseball underdogs on the MLB betting lines won more games than they lost, turning a healthy profit for savvy Vegas players.

It didn't seem to matter that the scene turned to interleague play. Dogs barked to the tune of 8-7 Friday, although the biggest moneyline winner was the Seattle Mariners, who were only getting +125 at the Colorado Rockies.
There were only a few big lines for this season's first day of interleague play. Over the last three days, baseball underdogs are 28-17. How much longer can that trend, a reversal of earlier trends that saw favorites win at a steady pace, continue?
Among Saturday's baseball betting matchups Ivan Nova and the Yankees are -165 home favorites over Homer Bailey and the Reds (1 pm Eastern); Anibel Sanchez and the Marlins are –115 road favorites at Jeanmar Gomez and Cleveland (4 pm Eastern); Ryan Dempster and the Cubs are -135 faves over John Danks and the White Sox at Wrigley (7:15 Eastern); and NL Cy Younger Clayton Kershaw and the Kemp-less Dodgers are -145 Chavez Ravine favorites over Jake Westbrook and the Cardinals (10:10 Eastern).
