Underdogs did better Tuesday and there are two huge dogs on Wednesday’s MLB odds menu.

Both the Kansas City Royals (+255 at Detroit) and Minnesota Twins (+220 at the Angels) are better than 2/1 propositions. The Orioles were Tuesday's biggest road dog payout at +175 at the Yankees (in a 7-1 victory).
Of course, betting on the Royals means betting against Justin Verlander, which has not been a successful handicapping style in the past year. The Tigers are 6-3 against lefty starters in 2012 and face erratic Johnathan Sanchez.
Detroit is 9-1 in Verlander’s past 10 starts against KC. But the reigning Cy Young winner got bombed in his last start.
Roy Halladay and Clayton Kershaw also throw Wednesday. Kershaw is favored big at Colorado while Halladay is a small road dog countering Tommy Hansen in Atlanta.
