Sundays are often a day of rest for many MLB regulars, especially older veterans, and it seems to be having an impact on betting totals.
Sunday Continues MLB UNDER betting trend

Baseball's betting totals leaned toward the 'unders' this Sunday by an 11-4 margin. Twelve teams were held to two runs or fewer, there were two 2-0 games and two 3-2 games, and four teams scored just one run.
So over the course of the last three Sundays, the totals have trended toward the 'unders' by a 28-16 margin.
Also Sunday, MLB betting favorites won nine of the 15 games played. But the biggest favorite on the board, Justin Verlander and the Tigers, got beat 5-1 by the Yankees. So Detroit is now just 6-6 in Verlander's starts this season, losing $445 in the process, based on theoretical $100 wagers on each game.
Looking forward to Monday's action, Clayton Kershaw and the Dodgers are -130 road favorites at Vance Worley and the Phillies; Ryan Vogelsong and the Giants are -145 home faves over Jeff Samardzija and the Cubs; and Ervin Santana and the Angels are -155 home chalk over Jason Vargas and the Mariners.
