Late night went to the dogs Monday, as a couple of West Coast games were won by the teams getting the better prices on the MLB betting lines.
Rangers, Cardinals Lead Way as Road Underdogs Tuesday

Both the Oakland A's and Seattle Mariners won as underdogs Monday night.
Oakland, getting +120 against AL West-leading Texas, put up an eight-spot in the second inning and starting pitcher Jarrod Parker didn't allow a Rangers hit until the eighth inning as the A's romped to a 12-1 victory. And the Mariners, getting +140 at the Angels, rapped Ervin Santana for seven runs in less than five innings on their way to an 8-6 victory.
Earlier in the day the St. Louis Cardinals avoided a sweep at the hands of the New York Mets, getting a key two-run homer from the recently returned Allen Craig in the eighth inning and holding on for a 5-4 victory. St. Louis won as a -110 road favorite, and the game, which was 1-1 through six innings, ended up going 'over' its total of 8.5.
Also, the Los Angeles Dodgers, playing without Matt Kemp, pushed across a run in the top of the ninth to win in Philadelphia 4-3. LA won as -120 road chalk, with Clayton Kershaw starting, and that game sneaked 'over' its total of 6.5.
Monday's totals leaned toward the 'overs' by a 5-2 margin.
For Tuesday we see that Jordan Zimmerman and the Nationals are -160 favorites over Chris Young and the Mets; Cliff Lee and the Phillies are -180 chalk over Chad Billingsley and the Dodgers; Anibal Sanchez and the Marlins are -130 faves over Tim Hudson and the Braves; and Andy Pettitte and the Yankees are -125 favorites over James Shields and the AL East-leading Rays.
