A trio of pitchers coming off the disabled list to start Tuesday looked like they took advantage of the time off, as they each picked up victories with solid performances.

CC Sabathia, who had missed about three weeks with a tweaked groin, held the Blue Jays scoreless through six innings as the Yankees won again, 6-1. Sabathia and the Yanks started off yesterday as favorites of around -215 on the MLB betting board, but by game-time the Yanks went off at around -240.
Philip Humber, he of the perfect game who spent a month on the DL with a sore elbow, held Boston to two runs in six innings as the White Sox held off the Red Sox, 7-5. Humber, though, got little love from bettors Tuesday, starting off as a dog of +150 but going off getting +180.
And out West, Philly's Roy Halladay, who hadn't pitched since late May because of a sore shoulder, limited the Dodgers to two runs in five innings in a 3-2 Phillies victory. Halladay and Philly began the day as -155 favorites, then went off at -165.
Looking toward Wednesday's MLB betting action, we don't see anybody coming off the DL to start, but we do see that Clayton Kershaw and the Dodgers are -125 favorites over Cliff Lee and the Phillies; the Braves with Mike Minor are -120 favorites over the Giants with Ryan Vogelsong; the Reds and Mat Latos are -145 chalk over the Diamondbacks with Ian Kennedy; and the Angels and CJ Wilson are -115 faves over the Tigers with Doug Fister.
