Dodgers vs. Cardinals NLCS Game 1 score update: Los Angeles, St. Louis remain in 2-2 tie

Zack Greinke is in control of the Cardinals’ bats while Joe Kelly continues to pitch effectively against the Dodgers’ offense.

The Los Angeles Dodgers and St. Louis Cardinals remain tied, 2-2, after six innings in Game 1 of the National League Championship Series on Friday.

Starting pitchers Zack Greinke and Joe Kelly settled in after both hurlers allowed two runs in the third inning. Greinke has eight punch-outs, striking out the side in the fifth, and has allowed only three hits. Kelly has surrendered six hits and a pair of walks while striking out five.

The Dodgers had a runner on base in both the fifth and sixth innings. The Cardinals haven't had a baserunner since Yadier Molina singled with one out in the fourth.

Juan Uribe leads all hitters with two hits and drove in both Dodgers runs on a two-out single in the third. Carlos Beltran's two-run double evened things up in the bottom half of that frame.
