Bourn injured his hamstring late in the season, but is expected to be healthy in a little over a month.

Cleveland Indians outfielder Michael Bourn underwent minor surgery on his hamstring Tuesday and will rest and rehab for 4-6 weeks before beginning a normal offseason routine, reports Danny Knobler of CBS Sports.

Bourn reportedly suffered the injury sliding into second base in the ninth inning of the final game of the regular season. He would still start in center field for the team's Wild Card game against the Tampa Bay Rays, but went 0-4 with a pair of strikeouts as Cleveland lost and was eliminated from the postseason.

The Indians signed Bourn to a four year deal worth $48 million prior to 2013. He helped lead the team to 92 wins, one short of the AL Central winning Detroit Tigers. Bourn played 130 games, hitting .263 with a 676 OPS and 23 stolen bases while playing strong defense.

The timeframe given by the Indians means he should be recovered and in good shape months before spring training will begin.
