It seems the Dodgers are trying to make up for their lack of NLCS home runs in one fell swoop. Catcher A.J. Ellis extended the lead in the seventh with the club's third solo home run of the day:

Ellis' dinger, which came off of one-time Cardinals closer Edward Mujica, is the first of his brief postseason career. Adrian Gonzalez and Carl Crawford went deep with solo shots earlier in the game.
The Dodgers have a 5-2 lead headed into the eighth with set-up man Brian Wilson coming in.
