The Boston Red Sox and St. Louis Cardinals will head to Busch Stadium on Saturday for Game 3 of the World Series with the series knotted at 1-1.

Jake Peavy will face off against Joe Kelly in Game 3 of the World Series.


Joe Kelly will start the game for the Cardinals. He has started three games this postseason, going 0-1 with a 4.41 ERA. The right-hander has done a good job missing bats, recording 13 strikeouts in 16 1/3 innings, but allowed too many baserunners, surrendering 18 hits and issuing six walks.
Jake Peavy will take the mound for the Red Sox. He has started two games in the playoffs, going 0-1 with a 8.31 ERA. The Detroit Tigers shelled Peavy in his last start, scoring seven runs on five hits and three walks over three innings.
First pitch is scheduled for 8:07 p.m. ET, with coverage of the game on FOX. Joe Buck and Tim McCarver will man the booth. The pre-game show is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m., featuring Matt Vasgersian, Harold Reynolds, Jimmy Rollins and A.J. Pierzynski.
