Michael Wacha will start Game 6 of the World Series for the St. Louis Cardinals, but manager Mike Matheny won't commit to anyone for Game 7 so far in advance, according to Danny Knobler of CBS Sports. The most likely options for a deciding seventh game would be Game 3 starter Joe Kelly and Game 4 starter Lance Lynn.
World Series: Michael Wacha to start Game 6 for Cardinals, Game 7 starter to be announced
Manager Mike Matheny hasn’t decided between Joe Kelly and Lance Lynn for Game 7 in Boston.

Wacha is the obvious choice for Game 6, and he will be starting on five days' rest. The rookie right-hander beat the Red Sox in Game 2, allowing just two runs on three hits in six innings; he has allowed only three runs combined in his four playoff starts.
Kelly threw 5⅓ innings in Game 3, holding Boston to just two runs on two hits. Lynn allowed three runs to score in 5⅔ innings in Game 4, but two of those runs came home after Lynn had been relieved by Seth Maness. Whoever doesn’t get the start in Game 7 will be available out of the bullpen.
Adam Wainwright starts for the Cardinals in Game 5 on Monday.
