Dustin Pedroia plays a pretty slick right field.


Second baseman Dustin Pedroia was stationed in shallow right field and gloved a scorching one-hopper off the bat of Beltran, then threw to first base to complete the out.
Beltran, one of the great postseason players of the era, has been limited to a .286 slugging percentage by Boston pitchers in the World Series.
Red Sox starter John Lackey retired the Cards in order to begin the game.
