After trading runs in recent innings, the Boston Red Sox hold on to a 6-4 lead over the Tampa Bay Rays through six innings in Game 2 of the American League Division Series. There have been just two scoreless frames for the home team at Fenway Park on Saturday night.

It’s a back-and-forth affair at Fenway Park on Saturday night.
Trailing 5-1 entering the fifth inning, the Rays appeared to be building a comeback after a big two-run double from James Loney:
However, that hit came with two outs, and John Lackey managed to stop the bleeding from there. Following a walk to Evan Longoria that put two men on base, Lackey struck out Ben Zobrist to end the inning.
Responding in the bottom of the fifth, Jacoby Ellsbury continued his productive game with a leadoff single to start the frame. One batter later, Dustin Pedroia doubled off the Green Monster and Ellsbury hurried home to extend Boston's lead back to three runs.
The Rays keep coming back, though, something that happened again in the sixth inning. With John Lackey's pitching count nearing 100, Tampa Bay chased the Red Sox starter and added another run before relief pitcher Craig Breslow came in to get out of the jam.
